Safety Vests
Make sure you stand out during an event or during disaster aid with our reflective Safety Vests. All of our vests are made with reflective vinyl, have bound edges for strength and stand out tremendously. Among the colors we have are fluorescent orange, fluorescent lime/green and CERT Green. We also have orange vests with a clear insert pocket. Besides being used by safety personnel they can also be used by hunters and highway workers so they can stand out to other hunters and traffic.
High visibility clothing/vests is very important to wear. From cycling and running, to traffic control, motorcyclists and working on a construction site - theyy create high-visibility. Fluorescent orange jackets, known as "fire-flies" were issued to track workers on the Pollokshields to Eglinton Street electrified section in Glasgow, Scotland in 1964; they were later tried in other areas, such as Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Inverness. After surveys were taken of their effectiveness, railway workers all over the country began to wear the gear.
