Non-Adherent Pads
Our Non-Stick Pads are made of a soft perforated film bonded to a highly absorbent pad. The film has a ventilated layer allowing the wound to breathe while letting the pad absorb any fluids. The pad can be cut or trimmed to fit any wound and provides minimal discomfort when removed and stays in place with adhesive edges.
Importance of high quality Non-Adherent Pads - When treating open wounds, having high quality Non Adherent pads is not only helpful but also a key to relieve discomfort. When blood starts to soak through a pad, you add on pads until it stops, which means the bottom pad may be directly on wound for a while. With a good, high absorbent non adherent pad, the blood may be absorbed quicker and the pad can still come off of the wound without sticking or tugging on the sensitive areas.
