Butterfly Wound Closures
Our butterfly wound closure bandages are a high quality alternative to staples or sutures for minor cuts and wounds. They are designed hold the skin in place as firmly as sutures/staples yet will not stick to the skin so there isn't any discomfort. Because not everyone is the same size, nor are all cuts and small lacerations the same, we offer multiple sizes and amounts for your needs.
Though butterfly wound closures (or butterfly stitches) act like a suture because they are used to close small wounds, they technically are not a suture. This is advantageous because a medical professional does not need to place or remove the butterfly stitches - hence their inclusion in most first aid kits.
