Our Povidone Iodine Swabsticks help prevent infection in the treatment of minor cuts, wounds, and abrasions. The sticks are saturated with a potent antiseptic formula (10% Povidone Iodine) yet are virtually non-stinging and non-irritating.
Povidine Iodine is widely used by surgeons as a strong yet economical pre-operative antiseptic. One attribute it has over antibiotics is that it can be effective against molds, fungi, and virus. Research by ophthalmologists have found Povidone Iodine to be very useful in treating Conjunctivitis (pink eye).
