 What is ILCOR?
  • ILCOR ILCOR conductis systematic reviews and updates of scientific evidence supporting ECC (Emergency Cardiovascular Care) treatment recommendations.
  • The committee was formed in 1992 to provide a forum for liaison between principal resuscitation organizations worldwide.
  • ILCOR usually meets twice a year.
  • Some of the worldwide organizations are American Heart Association (AHA), European Resuscitation Council (ERC), Resuscitation of Council of Asia (RCA) Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada (HSFC), and more.
 ILCOR Objectives
  • Faster scientific research in areas of resuscitation where there is a lack of input and debate.
  • Provide a machine that collects data, in order to review and share international scientific data on resuscitation.
  • Communicate information on training and education in resuscitation.
