Eye Safety

Eye safety, especially in the workplace should not be taken for granted. Depending on what industry you are in, your eyes could be exposed to everything from chemicals to flying debris. Our eyes are definitely very fragile, and statistics show that eye injuries occur frequently in the workplace. Our training products on Eye Safety show how many eye problems are caused by not paying attention to the work employees are doing, or not wearing the appropriate protective equipment. They remind employees that eye injuries can easily happen to them and show them how to prevent these injuries. Topics include eye strain, physical and radiation hazards, wearing contacts at work and much more!

CFA 1910.133 states that an employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases, vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation. If for some reason an employer is in violation of this regulation, please let them know and state this regulation code so they can become compliant.
