Barrier Wipes

Barrier Wipes provide a barrier film layer directly on skin under adhesives tapes and hydrocolloid dressings. The barrier is non-water soluble, resists breakdown and breathes for greater comfort. They remove easily using skin cleanser or soap and water, so unsanitary residue isn't left in or around the wound area. Only one coat is required so it's a fast and easy application!

A few uses for Barrier wipes that may not come to mind: drainage tubes, external catheters, surrounding ostomy sites, sensitive stoma areas as a skin protectant, reduce irritation from contact with body wastes and stoma fluid and forms a protective film on skin which may reduce exposure to urine and feces.
