Philips HeartStart AED technology is designed for every skill level, every environment. Whether its for EMS, law enforcement, schools, or the workplace, Philips has an AED solution that is reliable, easy to use, and quality assured.

EARLY DEFIBRILLATION PROGRAMS - Over a decade ago the American Heart Association introduced the concept of the "chain of survival" in cardiac arrests. There are four  important points to this process to increase a victim's odds and enhance a chance of survival:

  1. Need to recognize the emergency early and call an emergency response team.
  2. First responder, layman or otherwise, need to perform CPR quickly.
  3. Shock with an AED needs to be quickly and deliberately administered.
  4. Advanced life support followed by post resuscitation care.
